A Dynamic MCDM Approach Based on Simplified Neutrosophic Sets for Green Supplier Selection

While globalization enhances competition, environmental awareness is increasing. Ecological consciousness led to occurrence of green supply chain approach. One of the most important problems in green supply chain for a manufacturer is green supplier selection (GSS). Since this problem is a strategic decision with uncertainty, long term contracts are made with suppliers. In this study, in order to make a better decision in GSS, a dynamic MCDM approach based on simplified neutrosophic sets (SNS) is presented which takes into account the performances of the suppliers not only in the last period performance but also in the last few time periods. The uncertainty in GSS is expressed by SNS. Moreover, a dynamic simplified neutrosophic weighted averaging (DSNWA) operator is developed to aggregate the evaluations at different time periods. The proposed method is applied to a case study in which a battery supplier is selected for an automobile company.
